Education
I am a retired Spanish professor with a PhD in Romance Languages (principal language Spanish) from the University of Oklahoma. I moved to central New York in May 2017 from Oklahoma, where I taught for the last 13 years at Northeastern State University.
Experience
I have more than 30 years of university-level teaching experience. I have taught all levels of Spanish and Hispanic culture, from beginning and intermediate courses through advanced grammar and composition, linguistics, literature, and culture and civilization. I also coordinated a teacher certification program in Spanish and I am familiar with curricula for middle and high school. I enjoy working with students of all ages.
